All of the original 1960s and 70s Kustoms are solid-state amps, so their appeal nowadays is mainly for their cosmetic a e ffect. A16000 to A22000 — 1966. This type of vintage amp is used in a wide range of music genres, including hard rock, punk and metal. Can you do one for us bass players too!! A43000 to A50500 — 1972. For speakers this code can be 5, 6, 7 or 8 digits long, and it's ink-stamped or paint-stamped on the "bell housing" of the speaker. The first time date-source codes were published was 1924, so I guess you could see them as early as the late 1920's.

Given that people may refer to this information seeking specific production quantities of amps they are curious about, it should be pointed out that the serial numbers apply to chassis types, and not specifically to amplifier models. I would suggest checking the solder joints - are they clean? However, the 5f6 tweed Bassman should be the 1 amp.
